Last evening as I went on my regular Thursday nite feeding, I took these photos of Shaharazad and her beautiful babies of 2007. She has 11 of them in there with her now. She is certainly the Queen of the Roost. Just take a look at these amazing faces. I am grateful everytime I am able to look into the eyes of these wonderous creatures. Dancer is a rescue baby Barn Owl. She was thrown from her nest as a newly hatched chick and eventually came to Wild At Heart in need of tender care and loving hands. She is doing well and beginning to gain use of her legs and balance. Dancer is shown here wrapped up in her baby blanket for a feeding by Sam.
